Bengaluru, Apr 14: Chief minister of Karnataka H D Kumaraswamy on Sunday April 14 said he does not have blood of innocents on his hands 'unlike' Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"I have not killed innocents as Narendra Modi did when he was the CM. I don’t need to learn anything from him," Kumaraswamy told media after paying tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 128th birth anniversary.

When questioned about the recent Income Tax (I-T) raids in the state, the CM dismissed the question saying he was not afraid.

"Even when JD(S) president H D Deve Gowda went to someone’s house for dinner, his house was raided. What kind of government is this?" he asked.

On March 28, a total of 24 premises were searched by I-T Department and Rs 1.66 crore in cash was seized.

Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda has termed the raids as an act of political revenge as Kumaraswamy refused BJP’s invite to join them.

    People know about who and how the 2002 riots started. Communal riots in Gujarat are not new. There had been riots during Congress regime also. In 1969 Ahmedabad was under curfew for 65 days. In 2002 the situation was brought under control within 4 days, could have done earlier had the army been deployed on time.

You just cried when you were cornered well by Siddanna and his party that has artificially supported you like your pacemaker. You should achieve Siddi from Siddinna and the pacemaker that you carry, before you taken on Modi.

    Kumaraswamy talks without mincing words...second thing he is the only politician who wears commoner's dress.....plain/check shirt and black/brown trouser and simple footwear..no beard and mush, no turban / topi and no designer head gear, no saffron shawl / dress, no tilak...no white pant
    / white shirt/ white shoe, no 3 sets of dresses per day with team of make-up artistes....

    Modi or Yedyurappa or for that matter any other politician may be acquitted by the Supreme Court, SIT or CBI investigations but there is a much bigger Court called our Almighty who knows all the facts. What answers will these politicians give Him when one day they have to meet Him?

    Just because Narendra Modi was let off by the SIT it does not exonerate him. Many of the corrupt criminals in India go scot-free simply because they are clever enough to cover their tracks. The genocide in Gujarat took place under his watch. And till date he has NOT accepted moral responsibility for it. In fact, under his watch as Prime Minister tribals and minorities continue to be killed, harmed, and terrorized all over India. It is time to recognize "evil" for what it is and stop making excuses.

    Why did they burn the train. In a Hindu majority country pilgrims were burnt mercilessly. This triggered a mob frenzy. It was difficult to control. Why blame Modi. It was the train burners who created all this.

    Jossey Saldanha, Mumbai : Who locked one compartment of train in which pilgrims were travelling and through petrol bombs? Was it Modi or the Corporator of Congress. We only speak about aftereffects of Godhra, why cant we speak on the root cause for Godhra riots?
