Bengaluru: Second PU results to be declared on Apr 15

Bengaluru, Apr 12: The results of the second PUC board exams will be announced on April 15, pre-university education department director C Shikha has said.

The exams were held from March 1 to 18 across the state.

"Earlier media had carried reports that the results would be announced on April 17, but it was wrong. As we are uploading marks directly into the online server during evaluation, this time we are able to announce the results quicker," she said.

Usually, PU results are announced only after CET, but this is the first time in recent years that CET is being held after the declaration of PU results. CET, which was postponed due to Lok Sabha elections, will now be held on April 29 and 30.

An official of the PU education department urged students who have registered for the CET appear for the exam even if they failed to clear PU exams. Those who fail can try again in supplementary exams, he said.

As many as 6.73 lac students registered for second PU exams, while 1.94 lac will be writing CET.

The results will be announced at DPUE office at 11 am, on website at 12 pm, in colleges at 12 pm on April 15.

The results will be available on pue.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in.

CET hall tickets can be downloaded from kea.kar.nic.in.
