Mangaluru: Posing death threat, murder attempt - court exonerates accused

Mangaluru, Mar 26: The fourth additional district court here has delivered a judgement, absolving a person of the charges of posing death threat and attempt to murder. Puneeth Chandrashekhar had been charged with the above offences and he was accused of posing death threat and making an attempt to kill another person near the central market in the city.

It i said that Puneeth Chandrashekhar Salian had threatened to kill Gopal Shetty in the auto rickshaw parking area of the central market here. He also was charged with inflicting deep injuries on Gopal with a knife in an attempt to kill the latter. Bunder police had registered a case in this connection and filed charge sheet in the court. Judge of the fourth additional district court, Mallanagouda, said that the prosecution has failed to prove the charges levelled against the accused.
