Mangaluru: Indecent dances at bar – 5 arrested, 8 women rescued

Mangaluru, Mar 26: Barke station police raided a bar in city on Monday, March 25. They also arrested five persons and rescued eight women from the bar.

Golden Bar is the place where the raid was conducted. It is situated at Saibeen complex in Lalbagh.

It is said that indecent dances were in progress in the ladies bar. Police said that the arrested persons had indulged in the dances.

Barke police have continued investigations.

The operation was conducted in the leadership of police commissioner Sandeep Patil after receiving information about the dances at the bar.

    India has become a place of universal confusion factory . People have no idea what to do and what not to !! They want culture from west , money from gulf , technology from China and remaining from rest ..
    Everytime calling things as western culture, or talibanization does not make you saints.. If you don’t like others Just leave it . But criticising others for your inefficiency does not make you better ..
    And sponsoring ticket to Pakistan every now and then is ridiculous.
    Just correct yourself rather than blaming others ..

    Excessive moral policing is not good for any community. Such entertainment gives outlet for many peoples frustration and pent up energy. In the absence of night clubs, people go and rape and kill innocent children. Adult entertainment is a must for healthy communities.

    First of all police should stop and confiscate those fish water waste spilling trucks moving in mangalore city which causes terrible smell. Raiding dance bars are silly. I don’t know what’s wrong in it???

    Vulgur / Indecent dance leads to many other things, young teenagers normally get trapped in to it after the two drinks and dance. It is better to avoid such things in Mangalore, We do not need development on these things.

    We do not have to follow what westerns do or or Bollywood actors do.

    Very odd rules by our Administration,we support valentine day but no permit for dance in western style!
    Let govt set a guideline for any kind of dance, let it charge for these license,govt is also gaining tax,same time those who want to participate in such dance let them pay and watch,whats big deal there? instead of these type of raids,arrest,rescue etc??

    How come always men r arrested and women are rescued for the same dance.
    Where r so called freedom for food behaviour etc etc? Why no protest by women wing of sickulars? R those women have been forced to dance? If not why only men arrested.
