Mangaluru, Mar 25: The department of General Surgery, Father Muller Medical College, conducted a guest lecture on Saturday March 23 at the hospital conference hall.

The programme began with a prayer song.

Dr Leo Francis Tauro, professor and HOD, department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering.

Dr Ashwin Alva, consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist, A J Institute of Medical Sciences, here delivered a guest lecture on 'Recent advances in Management of carcinoma stomach'.

Dr Erel A I Diaz, professor, department of Surgery and Dr Ganesh M K, consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist, Father Muller Medical College moderated the session.

Dr Rajeshwara K V, associate professor, department of Surgery proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme was compered by Dr Sriranjini K S, second year Postgraduate Resident.

All the staff members and postgraduates from the department of Surgery were present during the guest lecture. A total 40 delegates attended the session.
