Bengaluru, Mar 25: Frustrated by quarrels within the family over trivial issues, a woman killed her 30-month-old child before ending her own life. She also has left behind a death note.
This incident happened on Saturday night a Kalyana Nagar near Nagarbavi within the limits of Chandra Layout police station.
Prathima Mangalorekar (28), wife of Santhosh Shetty, who works as first grade assistant in the department of excise, was the victim of this incident. Before that she killed her son, Satwik, by hanging him from the ceiling fan in the house.
Santhosh Shetty from Karwar had married Prathima from Yallapur four years back, the police said. They are investigating the case from all angles.
