Bengaluru: Objection filed with EC against release of biopic 'PM Narendra Modi'

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Mar 24: Lawyer Ramesh Nayak has written an email to Election Commission of India (ECI) urging them to give instructions to the producers of the movie 'PM Narendra Modi', a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Tumukur-based lawyer Ramesh Nayak has written an email in this regard to the central Election Commission and the chief election officer of the state on Saturday, March 23.

The email states that "The country is gearing up for the 17th Lok Sabha elections. The moral code of conduct pertaining to the election is already in action throughout the country. If the movie, which is based on the life of Prime Minister Modi is released at this stage, it will influence the voters of the country in a negative or positive manner.

“This will be a clear violation of moral code of conduct of the election commission. So you have to give instructions to the producers and other concerned people not to release the movie 'PM Narendra Modi’ which is slated to release on April 12."

An investigation by Cobrapost website has exposed as many as 36 celebrities from the Indian entertainment industry, who agreed to promote a BJP for money by posting favorable messages on their social media accounts to help create a favorable environment in the run-up to 2019 elections.

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who will be seen playing the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the biopic made his father Suresh Oberoi, was so eager to close the ‘deal that he was heard saying on the camera, “I would like to tell you to close the formalities before I leave so that I can start it from September, because after that I would go to Kerala and from there to Azerbaijan. I can tweet from anywhere, but if you close these formalities, I would arrive at an understanding. [Turning to his manager]You can discuss it all with them and also give me a list of issues with facts and figures in the form of a docket. After that, I, you and my social media team will make a phase-out [sic] plan; for instance, today we will cover this topic, and the topic to be covered every week, month you will mail me in a chunk, telling me we will be covering these issues in 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks, we will talk about this issue).”
Life is unfair Dr. Manmohan Singh got someone of the caliber of Anupam Kher. Poor Modi Ji has to settle for Vivek Oberoi. Salman Khan hota toh kya maza aata.

Cine actor who can't break the deal for social media post has to settle for a biopic of PM Modi. Just like Canadian actor of Akshay Kumar who acted in 'Toilet', 'Pad Man' heard addressing the fans in Toronto that he will invest in Canada and settle once he retires from Bollywood.

Very sad state of India. A ruling party to cover up its failures of development, falling economy, low GDP, demonetization, maximum soldiers killing in 5 years, lynchings in the name cow, Rafale Scam, farmers distress, Mallya, Modi, Choksi escape and many more, using CBI, RBI, Judiciary, IT, ED, EC and above all main stream media to play dirty, cheap rated tactics to defeat Opposition and to fool Indians to grab votes to win elections. Few examples are :
    - Making a movie to show surgical strikes (URI)
    - Making a movie to humiliate a world renowned economist and PM (Accidental PM)
    - Now making a movie to show fake achievements of his own.

Where we are heading. Whole world is laughing at us and they are the happiest one, specially Pakistan and China to see Indias lowered status in all aspects in world Chart. And these brainless blind bhakths are believing what is barked by Modi and his gang with the help of cheap rated corrupt main stream media is right. They haven't realized yet that we have already headed towards countries disaster. Majority of the film stars, cricket players are supporting this Feku to escape from paying Income Tax.
ED, Income Tax, CBI department is targeting only those questioning Feku and his government. They are being labelled as Anti Nationals. All these independent government bodies have lost their credibility in front of the public. Today most of the true Indians have lost faith, trust in all these bodies including our judiciary. In true sense, these are ones, who are anti nationals.
If things continue like this, we have to forget the words democracy, constitutional rights, justice from here onwards.
People of India, please wake up to save our country from these authoritarian gangsters. Because we can't expect anything from these brainless bhakths, because even if the country is heading towards a bad disaster, these people will say this is just for the bright future of the country.
    God save my country.

I don't understand why Vivek Oberoi was chosen to be the lead actor. Modi himself could have acted as he is a superstar in acting. He has great histrionic talents.

Vivek oberoi could not become a successful actor. He should make his biopic for us to see how Salman kicked him out of Bollywood for doing monkey dance with Ash.

When Amar Singh was in SP, BJP was calling him one of the most corrupt in India. He was abused in every platform by BJP. He was finally got pushed out from SP, finally he made himself comfortable with BJP. Today the veru same person very happily puts Chowkidar Cap and it is a great pride for Modi led BJP.

There are people who are desperate for Modi's blessing and these kind of marketing gimmicks shall continue to help Modi, as he failed in everything and his governance is colossal failure for India. This is one such attempt to make Modi hero, while his performance speaking to itself points to ZERO.

The title of the movie is incorrect. It should have read Chowkidar ..... our PM never said he is the PM of the country... he always refered as - Chaiwala, mazdoor, chowkidar and many other names.

People pay & watch movies.. It's not free..
Oppn is totally scarred of Modi...

    By that logic....
    1) SUN TV has to be banned because it shows DMk symbol daily
    2) All Ambarish movies must be banned because Sumalatha is fighting.
    3) Darshan, yash, shivanna, all movies have to be banned because they are campaigning.
    4) Hema malini movies should be banned because she is fighting
    5) traffic policeman has to be removed because he shows hand symbol... Haha..

    No end to this...
