Mangaluru, Mar 22: In a rare kind of self-motivation for a better nation, a man has resigned for his job, in which he was earning Rs 40,000 per month and taken up a unique awareness drive alone with an intention to educate the public about the importance of voting.

Basavaraj, S Kallusakkare (43) is the person who is conducting a ‘All Karnataka Voting Awareness Campaign’ mission on his motorbike. His mission is to visit all the 30 districts of Karnataka state. His intention is to create awareness on the importance of voting and urging the citizens to exercise their right of voting. He visits the government schools and colleges of the state as well as the cities and villages and creates awareness.

Basavaraj says, “So far I have covered 21 districts on my motorbike with a distance of 4,000 km and have reached this city. This is the 22nd district, I am covering as part of my state-wide campaign. I have resigned for my job in order to conduct this campaign. I was earning Rs 40,000 per month,”

“There are people who have asked me “Have you gone crazy? Are you under the illusion of changing the society?” I do not have any illusion of changing the society. However, I wish let my step be the first one in that direction.” he adds.

Mr Basavaraj if you are reading this then you should be proud of yourself for doing something that others don't have the courage to do. It is easy to criticize and laugh but it takes courage to do something like this. Do not care about what people say and just listen to your heart. Good wishes to you.

No jobs, No vacancy are political propaganda .... there are jobs in the market, only people don't want to work hard, recruitment agencies calling people for interview, but youngsters busy in pick-pocketing, ganja peddling, petty crimes and thefts ....
People thinking of country's unemployment, should also worry about high rate of increasing population ....
