Mangaluru, Mar 18: BJP spokesperson Jithendra Kottari has called the handbook on the alleged Rafale scam released by Congress leaders as a 'flop movie' and a desperate attempt to fight the pro-Modi wave in the country.
Addressing media here on Monday, March 18, Jithendra Kottari said," the handbook on Rafale scam is filled with lies. People are not in a stage to believe the facts of Rafale scam mentioned in the handbook. In the last five years, Modi has given good administration and the present situation says that people are in favour of Modi. This is the achievement of BJP.”
He also said," there is not a single proof of BJP’s involvement in Rafale scam in the handbook. That’s why they have released it only in district level. If there would have been any proof of corruption then they would release it at national level. They have asked several questions to BJP in the handbook. BJP is not bound to answer Congress for the lies written in the handbook. Congress needs to clarify the questions either asked by Ivan D’Souza or the district Congress. This handbook is drafted with the intention to divert the minds of the people and is used to play cheap politics. People will not believe in such things and the voters will answer during the elections on April 18.
It may be recalled that the Congress on Saturday March 16 had released a handbook on the alleged Rafale scam targeting the BJP-led NDA government.
