Bengaluru: Nomination filing for LS elections from March 19

Bengaluru, Mar 18: The filing of nominations for the 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of South Karnataka for the first phase of polling will start from Tuesday, March 19.

The filing of nominations will begin from the same day (March 19) of notification. March 26 is the last day for filing the nominations. The verification of nominations will take place on March 27. The last day for withdrawal of nominations will be March 29. The polling for these 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state will take place on April 18.

The constituencies which will go for polling the first phase are Dakshina Kannada, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Mandya, Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru North, Bengaluru Central, Bengaluru South, Chikkaballapur and Kolar.

    In my opinion Mr. J. R.Lobo should be fielded from JDS as an opponent of Nalin . Congis should not field any candidate. Only then can BJP be defeated.
