Belagavi: 5 Congress MLAs including Ramesh Jarkiholi to join BJP soon?

Belagavi, Mar 18: It is learnt through reliable sources that former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi and four other Congress MLAs have made all the preparations to join BJP before the Lok Sabha elections.

Ramesh Jarkiholi, who went to Mumbai two days ago has met Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and left for Delhi from there. It is said that he is accompanied by Athani MLA Mahesh Kumthalli and Nagendra.

 

Ramesh, who is presently in Delhi, will meet BJP chief B S Yeddyurappa on March 18 and will discuss the matter of joining BJP with national president of BJP Amit Shah as per the information available from sources. It is said that, if the discussion with Amit Shah bears fruit, then the five MLAs of Congress will resign from the party before the Lok Sabha elections itself.

    FIRST of all they are free to go anywhere its a free will & sooner the better.BJP is sitting on RAFALE windfall & other 100's of scams so they dont know what to do with tons of money ,they've to spend it & they are doing it openly, unashamedly with the clear blessing of CHOWKIDAR.not just in karnataka but all over the nation.(GOA/MP/ARUNACHL PRDSH/MEGHALY etc..)
    NOW is it morally right..(you are a politician so asking morally is a bit of stretch) party chose you out of numerous aspirants ,they could've given ticket to anyone but party selected YOU.there was ample time before becoming a candidate for YOU to say NO .still you contested on a party symbol-party ideology-with party leaders -party money. & people(lakhs) took a holiday ,stood in a line under open sun (young-old-disabled) & VOTED for YOUR PARTY & you.
    THEN how is it fair, when party/people invested so much, and you finally ditching & joining opposing party -opposing ideology, ist it not BETRAYAL of people(lakhs).when a person cheats(even a kid) he is punished.when people like you cheat lakhs of people what punishment YOU should be given.
    SO there must be changes in people-rep Act.
    (1) MLA/MP/MLC changing his party after election, must be disbarred from contesting election in any form for next 15 years & 3 years he cant join any party.
    (2)his/families financial audit should be done thoroughly & any suspicious activity should be a criminal offence.
    (3)he should be made to bear all the expenses of re-election & also MUST be fined for his earlier election which is minimum 10 crore.
    (4)he MUST publicly issue a statement/apology in TV/NEWSPAPER/RADIO & SOCIAL MEDIA for his change of mind & explain why he did it.

    The way this drama is unfolding, It looks like immediately after the LS elections the Ktaka coalition Govt is going to sink. They are just hanging on to show they are in good partnership only for election sake. HDK and HDD have already prepared themselves by getting close to Modi. The max JDS would do is sit back with a big fat salary for the next 5 years. Wait and watch.

    Few Days Back Dongis were rejoicing the so called Surgical Strike of Operation HASTha that 2 BJP MLA 's joined BJP.

    Remember, BJP has nothing to loose with outgoing MLA's nor will it affect MP seats. Congress-JDS Coalition is just on a brink of Simple Majority. This is a just a BJP's attempt to keep the coalition partners busy in stitching their torn alliance at State level so that BJP can go for the kill in Parliament elections. In the hope of 20:8 Parliment seats, they are about to loose a state.
