This queen of konkani songs is very famous in Canada too. When I was going with my relatives to different houses by rotation for Rosary, I happened to go to one Joaquim Fernandes house. They said, whenever Lorna comes to Canada, she stays in his house. I attended a Konkan festival in Canada and there are a lot of Konkani speaking people in Toronto. Many Mangaloreans and Goans have migrated to Canada and now they are citizens holding Canadian passport. Life is very comfortable there.
