Shobha Karandlaje to contest again from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency: BSY

Sringeri, Mar 14: Shobha Karandlaje will contest Lok Sabha elections as BJP candidate in Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, said BJP Karnataka chief B S Yeddyurappa.

Addressing reporters at Sringeri here on March 14, he said that there will not be a change of candidate in the constituency and Shobha will definitely emerge victorious.

“The discussions on candidate selection have already taken place in New Delhi. The list will be made public on March 18. I am confident that BJP will secure 22 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state,” he added.

B S Yeddyurappa and BJP state chief secretary Shobha Karandlaje had visited Sringeri Sharada Math to seek blessings from the seer.
