Bantwal: Scooter-car collision - miraculous escape for two helmetless women

Bantwal, Mar 12: Two women who were riding on a scooter survived miraculously, though they were thrown onto the road after colliding with an Innova car. In addition, they were not wearing helmet at the time of the accident.

This accident occurred at Vittal in the taluk, when two women who were trying to get onto the highway from the petrol pump, which is adjacent to the highway. The said incident occurred in front of the petrol pump which is near the main market area of the town.

The accident is caught on the CCTV. The lady driver is seen rushing onto the highway after getting the petrol filled at the station and banging against the Innova car that was coming from the opposite side.

Due to the impact of the collision, both the women were thrown out of the road along with their scooter. Luckily, they escaped with minor injuries. The CCTV footage clearly shows that both women were really lucky to survive this crash and the incident is no less than a miracle.

A case is registered in this regard at Vittal police station.

    Please make it clear to all drivers (two wheel or four) that entering a main road is only when the entry is clear. Not that you can enter at your wish. Traffic that is already on the road is priority, not you - no matter how much you are in.
