Mumbai: Kannadiga Kalavidara Paristhat celebrates cultural arts festival

Mumbai, Mar 11: Kannadiga Kalavidara Parishat in association with Karnataka government department of Kannada and culture celebrated cultural arts festival of the year 2019 at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz east on Saturday evening March 9.

Pejavar math Mumbai branch management official Vidwan Dr Ramadas Upadhyaya Renjala inaugurated the programme. Parishat president Surendrakumar Hegde presided over the programme. Forecast advertising private limited managing director Ganesh Shanbhog was chief guest. Kannada Seva Sangha Povai president Karunaker V Shetty, Mulund Friends president Suresh Shetty Yeyyadi, Kharghar Kannada Sangha president Nalina Prasad, entrepreneur and social worker R K Nayar and Radhakrishna academy founder director Sukanya Subrahmanya Bhat were present as guests of honour.



Aparna Bhat sang a prayer song. Vice president Kamalaksha Saraf welcomed the gathering, introduced the guests and presented an introductory address. Vijaya Shetty Kuthethoor compered the hall programme. Honorary chief secretary Babaprasad Arasa proposed the vote of thanks.

‘Gana Sambhrama’, a cultural programme by Nrathya Sangama and Kala Saurabha in the direction of Padmanabha Sasihitlu and ‘Talamddale’ Kannada drama by parishat members in the direction of Ramesh Shivapura were performed. Ladies wing president Tara Bangera compered the cultural programme.
