Mumbai: News photographer Ravindra Zende passes away

Mumbai, Feb 23: Ravindra R Zende, news photographer based in the city passed away after an illness at Sion hospital here on Friday February 22.

He was identified in print media through his pictures in Udayavani, Free Press Journal, Karnataka Malla and others newspapers in different languages. He used to also provide pictures of incidents, celebrations and news conferences.



He was well acquainted with editors of newspapers and reporters. He hailed from Balodi, Khanapur, Sangli, Maharashtra and was staying in a labor camp in Matunga east during the last several years. He has left behind his wife, a son and a large numbers of journalist fraternity.
