Kasargod, Feb 22: Teacher of Uyithadka Madrassa, B A Muhammed Ashraf alias Ashraf Anjumi, was arrested on Wednesday. He has been charged with harassing girl students of his Madrassa.
Muhammed is a native of Sullia. He was working as teacher in the Madrassa here since the last five years. During this period, he had harassed 11 girl students on different occasions. The locals had complained about this to the Childline.
On the basis of complaint made by Childline officials to Adoor police, the teacher was arrested and produced in court.
