Mangaluru, Feb 20: Students of Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences have the bagged maximum number of 41 ranks in individual subjects and also the top 7th and 10th rank for overall performance in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) university examination conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
The students belong to Batch 2013 (2nd Batch) of the institution. They will be felicitated during the 21st convocation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences to be held in the month of March 2019, said Dr Manoj Varma, dean of the institute.

Dr Abheeksha Shetty K and Dr Ashwini K S are the students who have secured 7th Rank and 10th rank in BDS respectively. Dr Abheeksha Shetty K had previously secured 8th Rank in 1st year BDS and Gold Medal (1st Rank) in Pedodontics. Her subject ranks in this year include 8th Rank in General Anatomy, 9th Rank in Dental Anatomy, 2rd Rank
in Dental Pharmacology and 8th Rank in Periodontics.
Dr Ashwini K S too had previously secured Gold Medal (1st Rank) in 1st year BDS. Her subject ranks include 5nd Rank in General Anatomy, 2nd Rank in Dental Anatomy, 7th Rank in Dental Pharmacology and 7th Rank in Pathology & Microbiology.

• Dr Sheetal V: 8th rank in General Anatomy, Dental Anatomy, Pathology & Microbiology, 10th rank in Orthodontics.
• Dr Namita: 9th rank in Physiology and Biochemistry.
• Dr Aysha Farhana: 4th rank in Dental Anatomy and 6th rank in Dental Pharmacology.
