PM Modi to visit Udupi on March 14, to address election rally

Udupi, Feb 20: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will be visiting the city on March 14.

He is scheduled to address an election rally here.

However, the venue where he will address the people is yet to be finalized, BJP sources clarified.

District BJP unit said that in all possibility, his programme might be arranged in MGM College ground.

PM Modi was insensitivity towards fallen Indian soldiers after reports suggested that the latter had continued with his film shooting assignment even after learning about the Pulwama attack. 45 CRPF soldiers were killed after a suicide bomber blew himself with more than 350 kgs of explosives in Pulwama on 14 February.
When the terror attack happened at 3:10 pm, but Modi remained unaffected by the news of the deadliest terror attack on the armed forces. Our prime minister was busy shooting for his documentary for Discovery channel ill 6:40 pm. When the whole country was mourning the loss of lives of our jawans in the Pulwama attack in the afternoon, PM Modi was busy shooting for a film till the evening. Is there any PM in the world like this?
Discovery documentary capturing Modi’s so-called ‘spiritual journey’ before becoming India’s prime minister, will be broadcast later this month, just before the elections. Modi, according to several local media reports, had arrived in Uttarakhand on the day of the terror attack for the shooting. The exclusive shooting was held in picturesque Jim Corbett National Park.
Modi had come under considerable condemnation for asking people in Jhansi to vote for him once again in this year’s Lok Sabha polls. This despite his own party’s spokesperson Sambit Patra had announced that all party programmes of the BJP had been cancelled in view of the Pulwama terror attack.
Nothing can be a more shameful or inhuman act by any prime minister than what Modi displayed immediately after the Pulwama attack. What can you say about a country’s prime minister, who spends four hours with a film crew & makes people chant slogans in his praise in the immediate aftermath of such tragedy? His insensitivity did not end here. Despite many demands, Modi refused to declare national mourning in honor of fallen soldiers. That’s because he did not want his scheduled programmes to inaugurate government projects & address voters ahead of the Lok Sabha polls to stop.

I didnt want to stoop to whataboutery but your comment left me no choice. First, there are many people who do not respect the past PMs including the former PM Dr. MMS, and treat only Modiji as a respectable PM. I have seen and faced abuses hurled at me on May 16 2014 and before that open abuses toward the former PM.
Secondly, even the UPA 1 didnt face corruption scandals but there are A-Z scandals of Modiji which the opposition doesnt highlight as much.

ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕೂವರೆ ವರ್ಷದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಾಲ ಶೇಕಡಾ 50ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸರಕಾರಿ ಸಾಲದ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದತ್ತಾಂಶ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

ಜೂನ್ 2014ರವರೆಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಾಲದ ಹೊರೆ 54 ಲಕ್ಷದ 90 ಸಾವಿರದ 763 ಕೋಟಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಾಲ 82 ಲಕ್ಷದ 03 ಸಾವಿರದ 253 ಕೋಟಿ ಆಗಿದೆಯೆಂದು ವಿತ್ತ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಾಲ ರೂ.48 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಇದು ಈಗ 73 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಸಾಲದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಶೇ. 51.7ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಂತರಿಕ ಸಾಲ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲೂ ಶೇ. 54ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು 68 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಸಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕಡಾ 47.5ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮೋದಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಲದ ಮೊತ್ತ 52 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಬಾಂಡ್‌ಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಸಾಲದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವು 2014ರ ಜೂನ್‌ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈಗ ಇದು 9,089 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಆಗಿದೆ. 2010-11ರಿಂದಲೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವಿತ್ತ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯವು ಸರಕಾರದ ಸಾಲದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
