Mumbai, Feb 18: Charkop Kannadigara Balaga remembered late Dr Shivarama Karanth, held charity lecture and drawing competitions in Kandivli west Poiser gymkhana, Khandivli on Feb 17.
Charkop Kannadigara Balaga trustee Jaya C Shetty, Chandrashekar Shetty Ermal, P S Karanth Vapi, S Daya and other elite were present.
Rajani Shetty, Shubha Suvarna and Jayalaxmi Shetty sang prayer songs. Literature and cultural sub committee convener Bhasker Sarapadi welcomed the gathering.
Honorary chief secretary Raghunath N Shetty delivered an introductory address. Advisor Gopal Trasi compered the programme.
