Haveri: Persons who raised pro-Pakistan slogans face reaction from people

Daijiworld Media Network - Haveri (SP)

Haveri, Feb 17: A person who raised slogans hailing Pakistan was badly beaten up by a crowd before he was handed over to the police. The incident happened at Devagiri near here on Saturday February 16. It is said that the accused was under the influence of liquor at that time.

The man who committed this act was Mohammed Ali Kerimattihalli. Devagiri villagers had organized candle light procession seeking the souls of the slain Indian soldiers to rest in peace. People who participated in the march were raising slogans condemning Pakistan. However, Mohammed Ali, who joined the crowd, began to hail Pakistan. Angered by this act, the others in the procession beat him up.

Pulwama attack

The police, who came to know of the incident, reached the spot and pacified the crowd. A case about the incident was registered in the rural police station here.

Belagavi report

Jileka Nazeer Sab Mamadapura (25), resident of Shivapura in the district, who works as a teacher in a private school, changed her Facebook status to 'Pakistan Zindabad' on Saturday. Angry locals, with support from nearby villagers, torched her house at night. The police, who rushed to the spot, doused the flames.

The family members, who realized the intensity of anger the teacher was facing, kept her hidden in a hotel at nearby Yaragatti village. After the news spread like wildfire, the police registered a case and arrested the lady. Locals thereafter staged road blockade, demanding stringent punishment to the teacher. MLA, Anand Mamani, who visited the spot, said that he demands strong action against the teacher.

When over 15 miscreants celebrated the killing of soldiers in Talekhan villalge in Maski taluk, Raichur district late night on Friday by distributing sweets and applying colour to one another, the news spread through social websites. Over a thousand young people from around the place gathered at the prayer hall of the village, and held protest. Some protesters rushed into the building, broke the pots and torched some clothes. The police dispersed them by resorting to light caning.

A case against six persons was registered for celebrating the demise of Indian soldier. Khajasab, Hussain Sab and Buddesab have been arrested and search for the others is on, police sources said.

Bengaluru report

A person named Nagesh, president of the Union of pro-Karnataka organisations, filed a complaint on Saturday February 16 in the cyber crime police station here against some persons. He has accused these persons of posting material justifying the Pulwama killing in Facebook.

Nagesh has given the names of the accused as Abeeb Mallick, Abdul Haneef, Sultan Ahmed, Salman Nissar, Amir Shariff and Umair Ghouse. Nagesh said in his complaint that these persons not only justified the killing of the soldiers through Facebook posts but also celebrated the incident. He has sought stern legal action against these persons.

Will Haveri people take candlelight march in protest of Ram Sena and Sanathana Sanstha for hoisting Pakistani flag on Indian soil near Sindaghi, Bijapur?
What about BJP's student wing ABVP chanting pro-Pakistan slogans 'Pakistan Zindabad' and 'Bharat Tere Thukde Thukde' in JNU campus that was disclosed by its own members resigned from the party.

Whether it is Jileka or Ali law of the land should be equally treated for unpatriotic people. We Kannadigas don't want pro-Pakistan slogans or flags in our Kannada Nadu.

We cannot blame God and Modi for every terror attack. When we have such people within us, what can Modi do? Mohammed Ali Dar , the suicide bomber was a Kashmiri who acted as per his Paki JEM boss.
The guys mentioned in the article too are not far behind esp when the whole country is mourning. As the Paki border is too far they do not have the support but their intentions are clear. At the end of the day, Be it a terror attack not only in India but anywhere in the world,, be it pro paki slogans , there is one common denominator . Do we still say that Terrorism has No religion and move on. Its just 'peace loving' on when they are a minority. If not the true colour comes out.
