Mangaluru: U T Khader inaugurates renovated Mangala swimming pool

Mangaluru, Feb 16: District-in-charge minister U T Khader inaugurated the renovated Mangala swimming pool and advanced filtration system with ozonisation and P H Control here at Ladyhill on Saturday, February 16.

Addressing the gathering U T Khader said, "The new international swimming pool will soon be constructed in Mangaluru and place for the same will be identified. Now Mangala swimming pool has become hi-tech with all kinds of facilities for the swimmers. Young swimmers should make use of the facilities provided at Mangala swimming pool and should excel at national and international level.”



MLC Ivan D'Souza said, "This existing swimming pool has been renovated with the cost of Rs 1.50 crore. It’s a proud moment for us that Mangaluru has one of the modernised swimming pools in the entire state."

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, mayor Bhaskar Moily, MCC commissioner Mohammed Nazir, deputy mayor Mohammed and others were present.

    They add too much bleaching powder.
    Once after swin here, we went to hotel have breakfast. Supplier asked us "Daane pulle kaande full tighta"? after seeing our red eyes. Heheheee....

    Please give separate batch to girl students, sometimes in the evenings after school/college timings. 3.45 to 4.30 batch is suitable for housewives. Grown up girls may not wish to train along with boys.

    Please consider this and encourage girls in learning a sport that can be a life saver to self as well as to help others in danger.
