Raichur: Congress betrayed Karnataka's farmers, says Amit Shah

Raichur, Feb 15 (IANS): BJP President Amit Shah on Thursday accused Congress President Rahul Gandhi of betraying Karnataka's farmers.

"Gandhi promised to waive loans of all farmers across Karnataka. But his coalition government waived only Rs 1,000 crore out of Rs 41,000 crore promised by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy months ago," said Shah at a party meeting in the state's northern region, 400 km from Bengaluru.

"The BJP is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA government announced Rs 6,000 per annum in the interim Union Budget for fiscal 2019-20 to farmers having 5 acres of land across the country," he said in his address to the members of the Shakti Kendra Pramukh Samavesh.

He also dared Gandhi to name the leader of 'mahaghatbadhan' (the opposition grand alliance).

Noting Kumaraswamy had said he became Chief Minister due to former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and not because of the people, Shah also mocked him for saying recently that he was working like a clerk owing to the Congress.

Shah is on a two-day visit to the state for pre-poll campaign ahead of the general elections.

Mr. shah - please look at the Border - Pulwama. Look at the destruction because of your stupid ideas; joining hands with terrorist and separatist parties in J&K. Our poor soldiers are paying the price for your stupid ideas. Please leave Karnataka alone, we are capable of handling our problems - once Yeddy is out of the scene, the peace will return and farmers will benefit. TAKE those RSS fights to J&K and see if they can defeat the Paki goons.

Shame on you sha... Your color is already disclosed by paper simha last time.. He instructed him to lead instigating communal tensions in the state..
Paper simha clearly explained your agenda and how it should be implemented ... You want to come from delhi and disrupt peace in Karnataka... ! We are brilliant and smart .. We all educated and don't expect us to be fools any more.. We did a mistake of voting last time.. but not again ..
You have anything to say about failed operation lotus... Urappa sold pride of BJP in vain... Nothing left for you to ask people mandate..
Stop using wrong tactics to get votes.. Stop bribing.. stop misusing religion for political gains ... Let people live peacefully... Please people know from where Urappa is giving money of Crores to run operation Lotus? Why no raid or enquiry on source of money? ED sleeping or they only target people based on your hints?
You and Urappa made us shame!

These attacks would not have taken place had the JeM not been created. And who created JeM? The BJP, by releasing Masood Azhar. Who escorted Masood Azhar to Afghanistan? BJP. What did Masood Azhar do after that? He formed Jaish-e-Mohammad...

On December 24, 1999, Indian Airlines flight IC 814 from Kathmandu to Delhi was hijacked by Harkat Ul Mujahideen terrorists. The hijackers demanded the release of three people in Indian custody - Masood Azhar, Mustaq Ahmed Zargar and Omar Sheikh.

The Vajpayee government relented and asked the then External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh and the then Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajit Doval to escort the three terrorists to Kandahar in Afghanistan, where they were handed over to the Taliban...

    suffer now...RIP soliders
