Kasargod: Mortal remains of Miyapadavu man to reach hometown from Oman

Kasargod, Feb 12: The mortal remains of Naveenchandra Alva (29), son of the late Mahabala from Mannippady Banabettu in Miyapadavu, who had passed away in Oman, will reach his hometown on February 12.

Alva, who was a lift mechanic, had lost his life in a tragedy which occurred on December 24. The body would be flown in to Mangaluru airport by a flight after which it will be brought to his home for funeral.

The lift cabin had slid down and crushed Alva when he was on duty. A high level inquiry had been ordered into the incident.

The officials at Oman had recently decided to release the body to the family.
