Wife lodges complaint against husband for harassing showing obscene videos

Bengaluru, Feb 10: A woman lodged a complaint against her husband who was harassing her by showing obscene videos.

The accused Vasanth from Nelamangala is said to be addicted to pornography. According to sources from the police, Vasanth was teaching at a government school.

In the complaint, the woman stated that her husband was harassing her by showing pornographic videos. He was also forcing her to indulge in sexual act as shown in the videos.

Soon after his wife approached the police, Vasanth went absconding. Police have launched a search operation in this regard.

    Pornography destroys marriages & social structures. It distorts the thought process and degrades how you view men, women and children. What is even more sad is that the addict doesn't see this as a problem and always justifies it as harmless.
    When such people enter into marriage, they see their wives just as an object to satisfy their Harlem of fantasies, which is detrimental to the woman and even the children they have. I don't see how police intervention will solve the issue, but if the person has a violent tendency then this is a temporary fix. Probably there should be more social awareness of this slow poison.
