Mangaluru: 'Prerna', a confluence of ideas and motivation, inaugurated

Mangaluru, Feb 9: Chairman of Manipal global education, T V Mohandas Pai inaugurated 'Prerna', a confluence of ideas and motivation at TV Raman Pai hall in the city on Saturday, Febraury 9. This event is jointly organised by Vishwa Konkani student scholarship fund alumni association, Vishwa Konkani student scholarship fund and World Konkani Centre. 

In his opening note, chief mentor of 'Kshamatha', Ullas Kamath said, "I have been attending Prerna programme since 2015 to get motivated. It is pride and honour to attend a programme like Prerna, which is a platform for a motivational speaker to motivate the young minds. The president of alumni association has transformed herself in the last one year. This should be the importance of Prerna, which improves the leadership qualities and builds the quality of commitment."

During this programme various sessions will be held by eminent personalities like Ananth Talaulicar, a corporate executive, Vasanth Kamath, a startup entrepreneur, Srinivas Dempo, an industrialist, Prashanth Nayak, a corporate executive, Mohan Shenoi, a corporate executive, Dr Usha Prabha Nayak, an educationalist and TV Mohan Das Pai, Chairman Manipal global education.

About Prerna

Prerna, a confluence of ideas and innovation is the flagship event organized by the VKSSF alumni association. The association is formed by the past recipients of the Vishwa Konkani Scholarship. Prerna is an event born out of the pursuit of Vision TVM. The event is solely aimed at building an ecosystem of motivation to help scholars of the world Konkani centre succeed in their career.

Prerna is in essence a powerful speaker platform, which has been graced by pioneer personalities in the past. Since 2015, imminent speakers have come together at Prerna and shared stories and experiences that has inspired all. This year Prerna aims to build on foundation in hosting eight speakers, who have excelled in their respective professions and have been an inspiration for many.

Chethan Prabhu and Sangeetha Kamath compered the programme. President of Vishwa Konkani student scholarship fund alumni association Niroosha welcomed the gathering.

President of world Konkani centre Basti Vaman Shenoy, Chairman Vishwa Konkani student scholarship fund Ramadas Kamath, Secretary Vishwa Konkani student scholarship fund Pradeep G Pai, Chief mentor Prerna initiative Sandeep Shenoy and others were present.
