Parrikar discharged from AIIMS, returns to Goa


Panaji, Feb 6 (IANS): Ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar returned to Goa on Wednesday, after being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for seven days, his office said.

Parrikar, who is suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer, was shifted to the premier Delhi hospital on January 31, a day after he presented the state's budget.
