Kundapur: Head on collision between car and bike takes away life of rider

Kundapur, Jan 21: A bike rider seriously injured in a head on collision between his bike and a car succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital here.

The incident happened near railway tunnel, NH 66, close to Green Valley school, Byndoor at late night on Sunday, Jan 20. The deceased is identified as Bukari colony, Shirur resident Rashid.

Rashid was on his way from Byndoor to his residence at Shirur at about 11.50 pm on Sunday. Meanwhile a Maruthi swift car approaching from the opposite direction near railway tunnel has hit his bike. Rashid who sustained serious injuries on his head, hands and legs was rushed to Byndoor government hospital. The doctor who examined him there said that Rashid had died. A case is registered in Byndoor police station.

    Very sad news. May Allah pardon his sins. I could not understand why people are riding bike in late hours of night. Its always dangerous. We should avoid such riding. Family members should not allow any one to ride bike in the late night.
