Udupi: Students of Milagres College Kallianpur visit NSE in Mumbai

Udupi, Jan 21: Milagres College Kallianpur, Post Graduate Department of Studies and Research in Commerce (MCom) students and faculty members visited National Stock Exchange (NSE) situated at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, for an educational visit on January 10.

The two hour session was conducted by Arvind Baliram Savant, certified financial planner (Financial Market Training and Workshop Financial Consultancy Trading and Investment).

The session started off understanding the need for setting up the National Stock Exchange in the 1990s and the problems associated with exchanges and trading back then.

Arvind Savant also briefed on common terminologies used in respect of stock trading such as financial derivatives, risk management, trading, clearing and settlements etc.
