Tumakuru, Jan 21: The health condition of Siddaganga Math's Sri Shivakumara Swamiji, is showing signs of volatility. He continues to be treated in the old Math premises.
A team of doctors led by Dr Paramesh continues to monitor the health condition of the Swamiji and treat him. He is suffering from breathing problem. A large number of devotees, worried about the situation, have been visiting the Math. As such, as a precautionary measure, security at the Math premises has been strengthened.
Devotees are being allowed to have the Darshan of the ailing Swamiji from the window of the room in which he is under treatment. At around 4 am, his blood pressure and breathing showed erratic changes. He has since been kept on ventilator. The Swamiji is very weak now and he has been provided with Ayurveda system of treatment. However, his breathing problem has given cause for worry.
The Swamiji's health condition had shown some improvement a few days back, and he had opened his eyes and looked at the devotees who had thronged to see him. When his junior, Sri Siddalinga Swamiji, touched his feet, he had opened his eyes and smiled at him. With the help of the junior Swamiji, he had taken part in performing customary Ishtalinga puja when the junior Swamiji sat near the senior Swamiji and performed the puja.
