Udupi, Jan 19: Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty returned to his hometown Udupi after a week’s stay in a resort at Gurgaon.

Speaking to reporters in circuit house, he said that B S Yeddyurappa will be the Chief Minister within next one month like a spectacle. “I will not say how he will be CM.”

“I did not enjoy in Haryana. I had been to Hardwar after attending BJP meeting. I had bath in the Ganges in shivering cold. There is no question of me forgetting my constituency. I am not a child to block my movements,” he said.

There was a news in a private news channel about Sukumar Shetty leaving BJP. Therefore Sukumar Shetty expressed his reaction to rumours that Congress high command was using Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes as bait to pull BJP leaders towards it. It was also claimed that there were discussions with senior leaders like Oscar Fernades, Harish Kumar and U T Khader in this connection.

“I am a hardcore Hindu. There is no question of me leaving BJP. The one, who lives like a monk, does not long for money or power. It is 18 years since I saw Oscar Fernandes. I had spoken to Khader regarding sand issue. But I do not know who Harish Kumar is. I came to know about U T Khader only a few months ago. Congress people never contacted me. I am close to Yeddyurappa,” he said.

Who cares if he joins congress or not. Both BJP and Congress are cancer to the society. Need to throw out BJP-Congress-Janata Dal from Karnataka as all three proved to be useless and these are very good only for resort politics.

Religion is opium to society. As far as there is name, fame, power goes, people will follow entities supported by religious bodies and one can call it, hard core.

Like the water can flow, in any direction, similarly people belief can change from hardcore to soft core when money, power equation changes. No politician is holy cow, irrespective of religion.
