Mangaluru: St Agnes College conducts interactive session on land rights, corporate responsibility'

Mangaluru, Jan 19: Department of Political Science, St Agnes College (autonomous), in association with Citizens Forum for Mangalore Development on January 17 organized a talk on 'Rights on Lands and Corporate Responsibility' at the college Conference hall.

Ute Ritz – Deutch of Amnesty International, USA and a renowned human rights activist was the guest speaker. She addressed the gathering regarding Significance of land rights and various issues of violation of land rights. The session was open to NGO’S, farmers, associations, students, social activists.

Lwarence D’cunha secretary, Krishi Bhoomi Samrakshana Samiti was the guest of honour for the programme. Vidya Dinkar, social activist moderated the interactive session.



Sr Dr Jeswina AC principal St Agnes College presided over the programme. Rhia hosted the programme. Chandramohan Mohan marathe HOD, Political Science proposed the vote of thanks.
