Yeddyurappa calls back BJP MLAs, says no plan to destabilise government

Bengaluru, Jan 19 (IANS): Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) legislators will return on Saturday from a private resort in Gurugram where they were lodged for the last few days, a party leader said.

"All our MLAs have been directed to return to the state," state BJP President B S Yeddyurappa told the media here.

The party was not trying to "destabilise" the coalition government as alleged by the Congress and Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S), he said.

"We are not trying to destabilise the government. We will work as a strong opposition."

Meanwhile, Congress legislators headed to a private resort on the outskirts of Bengaluru after a party meet on Friday, in an attempt to "safeguard" the MLAs.

"The BJP is indulging openly in horse trading. We need to have all our MLAs in our place and deliberate on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections (in April-May)," state Congress President Dinesh Gundu Rao told the media earlier.

The Karnataka BJP government is only good at running 'Good Governance' from resorts. When in assembly they prefer watching 'porn' instead of debates related to the public interest.

From the debut, BJP government to the opposition during JD(S)-Congress coalition BJP is only shinning India buying opposition MLA's through 'operation Kamala' when the EVM failed to secure the party seats.

It is time to reopen the pending cases of BJP party president Yedurappa in wife mysterious death in his own residence backyard water tank and put a final nail. There are many BJP elected MLA's explicit relations are hidden from public view. Just expose them and they will come begging for forgiveness.

As far as Congress four MLA's is a worrying factor. They have already paid Rs50-70 crores each for defection and acting as mediators to woo more MLA's from the coalition. The BJP with 104 MLA's and two independent supporters already in their sides and four MLA's of Congress abstaining from CLP meet now ask them to resign from the party. Now with the reduced strength of the house of assembly BJP may win with thin margin and come to power. Unless JD(S)-Congress coalition poach a number of MLA's from BJP before the Lok Sabha elections the coalition is going to fall.

This time the coalition has taken it lightly and BJP certainly has some upper hand.

Certainly, for Kannadiga, it will be another 'Arunchal Pradesh, Goa, and Manipur with resort politics laced with communal will be disastrous.

Having failed miserably in luring congress MLA's with money and other allurements, the BJP in Karnataka has to bit dust. The people will teach them a good lesson in the general elections.

Where is the question of destabilizing when there had never been stability from day 1.
This coalition is a marriage of convienence and can go through a divorce any time.

Coalition government has been totally unproductive for the last 6 months. Only infighting, blame games , one trying to pull the other one down and finger pointing at the cost of tax payers money and blaming someone else for their miserable state of affairs..

Do they have a report card of the work done which can be published?

CM is either crying or doing drama.
It's a shame that we are at the mercy of these politicians who do not have required competencies to run an administration/government...
