Udupi: Girl student hangs herself in her apartment

Udupi, Jan 16: A student of a private educational institution in Manipal, frustrated over some problem she was facing, hanged herself on Tuesday, January 15 at her apartment.

The victim has been identified as Damang Kiru Pasi (22) from Meghalaya. She was residing in an apartment in Manipal. It is said that she hanged herself in the apartment when no was around.

Reportedly, she was good at studies. The reason for her decision to end life is unclear. On the basis of complaint filed by the student's sister, a case was registered in Manipal police station.
