Bengaluru, Jan 15: In an incident which happened in HMT Layout in R T Nagar Layout here, an aged couple was bound by ropes and robbed. The culprits were their own domestic help and her husband. The man who lost due to this robbery happens to be Aditya Narayana Swamy.
The housemaid and her husband tethered the house owners with a rope, and robbed gold and cash worth six lac rupees. Swamy had appointed Suneeta from Nepal and her husband, Suresh, for doing household work a week back. The couple however, with the help of two others, robbed the owners.
Swamy filed complaint in R T Nagar police station. The police, after painstaking probe, could nab Madan and Ganesh, also of Nepali origin, who had helped the couple to commit robbery. The couple, Suneeta and Suresh, probably would have fled to Nepal, the police feel.
