Udupi, Jan 14: “A people awareness campaign for the survival of constitution will be held in district and taluk centers of the state on January 26,” said Republican Party of India, Karnataka state president R Mohanraj.

Addressing a press conference held in Udupi press club on Monday, he said that the party will contest in 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state under the leadership of national leader Prakash Y Ambedkar. “A mass rally of twenty thousand people who have faced exploitation will be held in Freedom Park, Bengaluru on February 20 with the ‘slogan preserve the constitution and save the country’,” he said.

The nonstop movement will be held in all the district centers. Private meetings will be held for strengthening the party in Shivamogga on February 2, in Mangaluru on February 3 in Udupi and on February 4 in other Lok Sabha constituencies for strengthening the party and to preserve the aspirations of the constitution. Republican Party of India works towards bringing changes and revolution in the society,” he said.

Raju Talavara, state president, Dr K A Jabalesh, publicity committee, Shekar Havanje, RPI state secretary, Manjunath Bengaluru and others were present.
