Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh convicted in journalist's murder case

Chandigarh, Jan 11 (IANS): A special CBI court in Haryana's Panchkula town on Friday convicted Dera Sacha Sauda sect chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh for the murder of Sirsa-based journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati.

Three others, who were close aides of the sect chief, were also convicted by the court.

The judgment was pronounced by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court judge Jagdeep Singh in Panchkula, adjoining Chandigarh.

Chhatrapati was shot at in October 2002 and died later.

    While Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh convicted in journalist's murder case, but in Karnataka 'Cow Swamiji' of Raghweshwar mutt in two disciple murder even after his DNA match gets 'Clean chit'. Interestingly his political connections are so strong that five of the judges who suppose to deliver judgment are force recuse from hearing.
    He is still BJP's poster boy just like Swami Nithyananda.

    Gurmeet Ram Rahim is a mockery of ALL RELIGION and no one has raised their voice against him till he convicted as rapist and murderer 1 coz everyone enjoying his throwing bones its similar case of Mallaya !

    The concept of religion itself is a joke; so how could this joker be a mockery of all religion?

    You either accept that religion/God has no rational & logical basis to exists, or just shut up and accept that believers will have different levels/kinds of beliefs.

    When the foundation itself is shaky, where is the question of finding faults in the ceiling?
