New Delhi, Jan 8: Leaders of Malpe fishermen in the leadership of All India fishermen’s forum met union finance minister Arun Jaitley in Delhi on Tuesday, January 8 and requested for his cooperation to find seven fishermen from Malpe port missing in Arabian Sea since December 15.

The delegation had gone to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But they could not meet the prime minister as the prime minister of Norway has arrived in Delhi. “We have met the prime minister’s secretary and explained the gravity of the matter. He has assured of informing about it to the prime minister,” said president of fishermen’s association Sathish Kunder.

The delegation later met union minister of finance Arun Jaitley and submitted an appeal urging to take action to find the fishermen. “The minister has responded positively,” said fishermen’s federation president Yashpal Suvarna.

All India fishermen’s forum president Veljibhai Masani, chief secretary Yashpal Suvarna, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP Shobha Karandlaje, Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, fishermen association president Sathish Kunder, Kishore Suvarna, Dayananda Suvarna, Karunaker Salian, Manohar Boloor, Nithin Kumar and others were the part of the delegation.

The fishermen urged union minister of finance Arun Jaitely to take swift action to find missing fishermen, abolish GST in fisheries sector, cancel road cess on fish industry and provide kerosene on subsidised rates for fishing boats.

I culd not understand why waste MPs Shoba and Nalin are in the delegation. By their face, they seems to be very very serious and distressed.

Same MPs preferred to hide themselves during funeral ceremony of brave Police Inspector in Kundapur.

Now they are only shedding crorodile tears and trying to get public sympathy in view of coming electin.

Shoba and Nalin did nothing to their constituencies except hate speech and giving illogic / undemocratic statements. Instead of metting Jhottley, they should have met Sakshi Maharaj who has the power to do anything. He is a Godly man and capable of doing any thing.

The way he looking at the paper is like since you couldn't find them, Now let me go the sea, search and bring them alive before 2019 Lok Saba election.
Anyway both MP's got a good chance for photos. Although development in their constituencies by them is ZERO these sad news show their presence brightly.

After all what this useless Jaitley going to do with missing fishermen? He ruined country's economy and made disaster. He will simply sit and start to write the blogs on twitter about missing fishermen and will blame Nehru for their disappearance. It is good that they couldn't meet Modi, otherwise Modi would have advised them not to catch the fish anymore, as eating fish is anti religion and anti national.

Incidents in air travel and sea travels are well known... Those are unavoidable circumstances... Nobody should blame state and central governments... To some extent luck plays some role here...
