Mangaluru, Dec 26: The department of Commerce organised a workshop ‘Sangh - the Art of building a Team’ for II BCom students on December 21.

Prof Manoj Louis, assistant professor, Government First Grade College, Kavoor was the resource person for the workshop. Prof Manoj highlighted on the relevance of working in teams to achieve success and how team work could be dream work. He stressed on how every individual is important in a team and that one must appreciate and happy over every team members success.



A number of activities were conducted to throw light on team spirit and team work. As many as 250 students actively participated and students well appreciated the workshop.

    Team Building is an essential part of Leadership. While individually we all might be the "best of the best", the Team Building spirit will help us to group our ideas and talents together and make the ultimate result more productive and successful. Team effort will reduce our individual burdens, and by knowing how to share our ideas and perceptions, we shall gain greater result for the benefit of all.

    In our daily endeavor of life, we all have to follow the leader by supporting him or her by providing all our incentives and support. As we extend our support, we shall realize the group reciprocation and enjoy a better result.

    The "Charity of Group effort" does in fact begins at home. While the father and mother join together in their daily effort of family unity, the children grow up watching the team effort of their parents and learn the quality of family unity. So many families around us have dwindled in their daily perception of life by not being able to understand the value of "Group effort". This is where and how the family fails to unite, and the end result is very discouraging.

    We strongly therefore recommend the "Team Work" in all that we aspire in our daily life. Thank you, St. Agnes for all your initiatives in training your students to remain united and remain together as a group. The "Team Work" can be the best theme for the fast approaching New Year 2019.
