Chikkodi: I will return as chief minister again - Siddaramaiah

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikkodi (SP)

Chikkodi, Dec 19: "People who were jealous about my bright chances of becoming chief minister of Karnataka again, made sure that I lost in the assembly election. If the people of Karnataka bless me, I will return as chief minister of the state again. I am always ready to serve the people," said former chief minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah.

He was speaking after inaugurating Kanaka Jayanti programme organized in the town on Tuesday December 18. He claimed that no other chief minister had ever undertaken the amount of development works he undertook during his term.

He criticized some leaders of building organizations in the name of Sangolli Rayanna despite having no knowledge about his virtues and deeds, and indulging in politics backed by falsehood. He called upon the Kuruba community not to back such leaders. "We should support people who fight for social justice and self respect and not fake leaders," he said, without mentioning the name of BJP leader, K S Eshwarappa.

A man who was booted out of his home constituency is dreaming. But there are rumours on FB that he is contemplating to BJP. He has had meetings with couple of the saffaron party top shots. You never know . Please note that he is an oppurtunist and a party hopper. From JDS to Cong for selfish gains. Ktaka people have shown him the right place, a Peon to Mr. & Mrs HDK.

Human desires are endless, Having everything we want won’t make us totally happy forever. The constantly changing world can’t bring constant, permanent happiness. We may have what we want but it can’t last forever or continue to satisfy us forever.

Not only is the world constantly changing; our own desires are constantly changing. It is in the nature of the human mind that it does not remain satisfied for long. Some things may bring us a lot of pleasure for quite a long time, but we are always wanting something better or something new. So the pursuit of pleasure doesn’t lead to lasting happiness.
