Only 10 years jail for child molestation !!The judgement seems mockery of Law of the land and somehow encourage rapists further. I feel very sad for the victim and the feelings of her parents.

Why Only 10 Years? . Purely injustice to the child. Nothing less than death sentence. Only the child and her parents can feel the real pain. No one else can. We need to amend our laws on urgent basis regarding child rapists.

Our system of Justice seems linient despite death penalty being on the table for crimes against minors.
I feel the judge needs to consult psychiatric experts who will I am sure tell that the victims are scarred for life.
Just last week an Indian H1b visa holder software professional travelling with his wife ,on a transatlantic flight, was sentenced for 9 years in USA. His crime?
He was convicted for unbottoning the uppergarment of the sleeping lady passenger seated in the next seat.
Surely the Mangalorean convicted rapist deserves 25 years of prison sentence?
i guess we are more worried about temples etc than safety of women and children in India.
