Extremely shocked to hear about the passing of Bishop Thomas! I have known him for many years. He was a man of simplicity and exercised his priestly ministry with zeal and passion. In him we have lost a great Pastor. He was indeed a shepherd with the smell of sheep. Rest in peace!

Indeed it is a very sad piece of news that a dedicated and humane Bishop Thomas Thennatt of Gwalior is no more. From the information available he was dedicated ecclesiastic and a man of God.

I join scores of people in sending my sympathies to The Diocese and to his family members.
