Bengaluru, Dec 13: The central crime branch police here have succeeded in busting a racket involved with sending Nepalese women to countries like Kuwait and Saudi Arabia illegally by way of human trafficking. They have rescued 35 such women.

Those taken into custody have been identified as Kishan Gale, Rakesh Sharma, Laxman Gale, and Teg Bahadur. All of them are natives of Nepal, it is gathered. Major players of this racket, Venkatesh Rao and Navraj from Nepal are yet to be arrested and the police are doing everything within their command to nab them.

The police have seized six fake rubber s tamps made out in the names of central immigration department and police department, apart from two laptops, a printer, and six cellphones. They are continuing with the probe.

The police suspect involvement of a large number of agents in this racket. Therefore, they are trying to have a grip on all the dimensions of this trade by conducting investigations from various angles. Legal measures have been set into motion to send the distressed women back to Nepal, a senior official stated.
