'Vechogi Ravncho' shows in Karkala, Moodbidri and Mangaluru from Dec 14 to 16

Mangaluru, Dec 12: It will be comedy and entertainment full week for the drama lovers from Karkala ,Moodbidri and Mangaluru city. After staging four houseful Shows in Dubai, Kinnigoli, Udupi and Abu Dhabi, super hit Konkani Drama ‘Vechogi Ravncho’ by ‘Saangon Mugdana Kalakar’ under the leadership of ‘Haasy Raay Kunvar’ Pradeep Barboza Paladka is all set to entertain again with three back to back Shows on huge public demand.

It will be a complete Christmas gift for the audience of Karkala, Moodbidri and Mangaluru as all three shows are scheduled on December 14, 15 and 16 respectively. The first show is organized by the parishioners of St Dominic Church Miyar, Karkala, on Friday, December 14 at 6.30 pm for the noble cause of building houses for two needy families of the parish and for providing medical aid for two financially poor parishioners.

The second show will be on Saturday, December 15, at Holy Cross Church ground Alangar, which will be presented by Lancy, Anitha and Leon Pinto of Doha, Qatar and jointly organized by ICYM Unit Moodbidri Deanery and Saangon Mugdana Kalakar, Moodbidri unit. The show will start at 6 pm. This show is also organized in aid of Daya Special Children Care Centre, Beltangady, a unit of Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra.

The third show will be on December 16 at 5.45 pm at Don Bosco Hall in the city, a stage where every actor wants to perform. This show will be organized by Oasis Creations, Mangalore in association with Oasis Caterers and Arrangers Merlapadav under the leadership of William Saldanha and Ivan Saldanha.

The story of the drama revolves around a bus stop and two shops attached to it in rural Mangaluru. The drama is a blend of family and love story, comedy and suspense. The script takes interesting turns when nearing the climax and makes the audience to anticipate alternate endings. The drama is written and directed by ‘Haasy Raay Kunvar’ Pradeep Barboza Paladka. Apart from Pradeep Barboza himself, Alphonse D’Souza Moodubelle, Godwin Castelino Attur, Royston Kiran D’Souza Balkunje, Vernon D’Souza Bajjodi, Paul D’Souza Paladka, Nanu Marol Thottam, Helvin Barboza Kulur, Laveena Fernandes Pangala, and Venicia Rodrigues Alangar have performed in the drama. Melodious music is rendered by Rohan Lobo Kalakul, which is the special attraction that will mesmerize the audience.

Main coordinator of Saangon Mugdana Kalakar team,  Diany D'Souza said “Our team is more than happy to perform in front of our own home crowd from Mangaluru, Moodbidri and Karkala. We have received tremendous response during our Kinnigoli and Udupi Shows along with our shows in UAE. All the three organizers have confirmed that there is a huge demand for entry and without any doubt all three show will witness a houseful crowd. This drama will definitely go into history of Konkani dramas as one of the best entertained and crowd puller drama. We are receiving huge demand to play this drama, but due to the pre commitments and busy work schedule of our team members, we are not in a position to give dates to our ever loving prospective organizers. Most of our actors are coming on the morning of Friday and returning on Sunday night after the show at Mangaluru.”
