Jaipur, Dec 11: The Congress has wrested Rajasthan, a BJP heartland state and has regained its lost ground in the 200-member assembly. Chief Minister M Vasundhara Raje could not win a second term.

Rajasthan, which alternates between the Congress and the BJP, has true to form voted for the Congress, but the victory may not be as easy as predicted by all exit polls. The party is hovering around the simple majority of 100 seats in the 199-seat Assembly.

Among Congress' top candidates were former chief minister Ashok Gehlot in Sardarpura and Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot from Tonk.

Most exit polls had predicted a victory for Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot’s Congress over the BJP, which was facing anti-incumbency and is up against a 25-year-old record. Since 1998, the state has alternated between the Congress and the BJP, and no party had come to power in consecutive terms.

    So, let the govt machinery be totally ON-LINE..No more carrying Files by hand .
    make it Crisp..quick..efficient..no red tape..Bureaucracy...no more lethargy...
    dragging feet.
    People need Tall smart..dynamic leaders..
    bring back Dr. Manmohan Singh.. Dr. Sam Pitroda as advisors..
    to lift Economy to 10 % growth plus each year..
    keep all on their TOES.
    Let every politician from Grass rot MLC to the top cabinet minister be accountable..responsible.. result oriented with RESULTS..
    SERVE THE NATION..SERVE THE PEOPLE.
    NATON COME SFIRST..PEOPLE COME FIRST.
    Work is worship
    Treat other s like God...
    Others come before us.
    clean and smart nation is the need
    This election is a great eye opener for all.
    People watch..people discuss.
    people elect.
    so simply work.
    Politics in every area will not work..those were past days..making HAY...no more..
    today is the Digital era..

    It's very surprising and shocking that BJP is not complaining to EC about EVM tampering by congress for BJP's shameful and disgraceful defeat after claiming and convincing people about their solemnity to Hindu religion and loyalty to the country.
