Results give clear message to BJP, it's time to introspect: Shiv Sena

New Delhi, Dec 11 (PTI): As votes were counted, Shiv Sena Tuesday said the outcome of the elections in the five states is a clear message to the BJP and there is a need for the ruling coalition to introspect.

Shiv Sena spokesperson and the party's Rajya Sabha lawmaker Sanjay Raut said the trends reflect that the BJP's victory chariot has been halted.

"This is a clear message and it is the time for us to introspect," Raut told reporters in Parliament Complex.

Despite being in alliance at the Centre and in Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena shares an uneasy relationship with the BJP. The two parties contested the 2014 Maharashtra polls separately but later joined hands to form government in the state.

As per latest trends, the BJP is trailing in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh to the Congress. Madhya Pradesh is witnessing a very close contest between the two parties.

In Telangana, TRS is heading to form the government for the second time and in Mizoram, MNF has left the ruling Congress far behind in its tally of seats.

It is time for Shiv Sena to introspect itself that is in coalition in Maharashtra with BJP. Once dominant party which has the major influence in Martas has given its way to BJP's interest in the state.

The Shiv Sena has made a big mistake of forming an alliance in the state. If they break away from the coalition with BJP, sympathy vote will bring the BJP to full majority. In that case, its own identity will be a crisis reducing to a small party.

It is a time of Shiv Sena to think about strategy. Otherwise great 'Thakrey' dynasty will be history.

Let INC realize the importance of faith people reposed on them.
They were taking the support for granted.
Their lethargic behaviour costed them dearly in the last election.
Let BJP realize now that, it's people who chose them; power is rotating, not to rule as if they are Kings.

First off, they should change the PM candidate to a 'genuine' personality, starting from educational qualifications and who's not a pathological liar.

All BJP commentators with fake doctors and scholars are exposed. No takers for their weight of words and authority with heavy fake degrees. Hindu commentators with name changed to Christian and Muslims to eat beef can now eat beef with Hindu names. No restriction by law nor it is prohibited by Hindu holy books. It's democracy revisited and your rights are protected. Nobody can dictate to you and impose their will on you. BJP Murdabad. Thank you for enlightening us.
