Udupi: Scooty rider killed as car rams into two-wheeler

Udupi, Dec 11: Shivanna Shetty (65) from Adve Sannoni near Padubidri was killed after an Innova car hit the two-wheeler he was riding, from behind. The incident happened on Monday December 10.

Shivanna was going to his home at Adve Sannoni from his poultry shop at Kanjarkatte when this accident happened.

Shivanna, because of the impact of the accident, was thrown onto the road. He suffered deep injuries to his head. Although he was immediately taken to the primary health centre at Padubidri in the same car, he did not respond to treatment.

The accident victim has left behind his wife and three daughters. A case about the accident was registered at Padubidri police station.
