Kundapur: Woman facing health issues hangs herself

Kundapur, Dec 11: Poornima (29), wife of Raghavendra, from Saibarakatte Kalbettu in Shiriyara village, committed suicide on Sunday December 9.

Poornima had married Raghavendra from Barkur in 2014. As she was suffering from some kind of psychological disorder, she was under treatment since before her marriage at the hospital here. As the problem persisted even after marriage, her husband and parents had talked between themselves and filed for divorce. After the divorce petition was filed in court, Poornima had begun to stay with her parents.

On Wednesday afternoon, after lunch, Poornima had retired to her room. After sometime, family members heard some sound from her room. They peeped through the window and found her hanging from the beam of the roof. They broke open the door immediately and brought her down from the noose. She was rushed to a local doctor who pronounced her brought
dead.

On the basis of report filed by Poornima's mother, Susheela, a case stands registered in Kota police station about this incident.

    Very sad case.After divorce filed ,she must have got more psychic distrbed than before.Did anyone asked consulted her before filing divorce?Only parents took the decision?may her soul rest in peace.Why did they got her married even when she was sick before complete cure?cant understand.
