Mangaluru: Premiere of Konkani movie 'Planning Devachem' on Dec 14

Mangaluru, Dec 6: The Mangaluru premiere of the much-awaited Konkani movie ‘Planning Devachem’ will be held at Big Cinemas on December 14 , at 9.30 am. The film is produced under the banner of Goan Trinity Films. 

Msgr Maxim Noronha, Vicar General, Mangaluru Diocese, Walter Nandalike, Founder, Daijiworld Media Group, Rohan Monteiro of Rohan Corporation, Luvi Pinto, president, Mandd Sobhann, Roy Castelino, former president, Konkani Sahitya Academy will be the guests of honour for the premiere show. 

 



This film has been already released in Goa, Karwar and Honnavar and has received an overwhelming response from audience. 

Speaking to Daijiworld, Severino Fernandez, writer and producer of the movie said, "After a long wait we succeeded in getting theatre in Mangaluru and now our team is all set for the premiere of ‘Planning Devachem’. The people of Goa, Karwar and Honnavar have accepted the movie and responded very positively. It is technically sound and equally excellent in its story, screenplay and acting. It is the first movie in Konkani which is visualized as a Bollywood movie.  7.1 surrounding sound technology was adopted for the final print." 

"Mangaluru release of the movie is very important for us because after hearing the news of its release in other parts of state, the audience of Mangaluru continuously followed up for the release of the movie in their native. Many Mangaluru-based actors have acted in this movie and there is no doubt that it will win the hearts of the Mangalureans. We also have plans to release the movie in other parts of the districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi and will announce the dates soon,” added Severino. 

'Planning Devachem' is directed by Rajesh Fernandes. Konkani and Marathi actor, Tapan Acharya, is the lead actor of this movie. Cicil and Seema Buthello are the heroines. Actors like Eddie Fernandes, Stany Alvares, Prince Jacob, John D'Silva, 

Rons London and others have appeared in different roles. The film is shot in places like Mangaluru, Honnavar, Karwar and Goa. Along with the well-known artistes, new faces from Mangaluru and Goa can be seen in the movie. 

Music is composed by Raphael Vinay. N Ramesh Babu is the cinematographer. Editing is done by Shivu. Thriller Manju is in charge of the stunts, while advertisements are handled by Pinto Vamanjoor.

    Lets remember one thing & keep in our mind we cant spend in millions like how Bollywood Or kannada movies are one as we have a limited places to release this movi
