Mangaluru, Dec 9: A person accused for being involved in the sexual assault and abduction of a minor and was absconding, has been arrested on December 8.
Mohammed Aftaz (22) from Yermalu in Udupi is the accused.
A complaint was registered at Bajpe police station in this regard. The court too had issued a warrant against him.
The prime accused in the case Mohammed Tahir is already behind bars.
The operation was carried out by a team led by ACP Manjunath Shetty, Bajpe inspector Parashiva Murthy, PSI Shankara Nayari, Padubidri PSI Sathish M P and the staff.
